Breaking News:Bronny James offers sincere thoughts on the possibility of teaming up with his father, LeBron…Read more.

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has openly expressed his desire to play alongside his son, Bronny, in the NBA. However, the 19-year-old Bronny stated that he isn’t currently focused on that possibility. Bronny, who gained significant attention during the NBA draft combine, impressed with his performance in drills at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois, showcasing his skills as a former USC swingman.

On Tuesday, Bronny addressed reporters following the conclusion of the combine. When asked about the prospect of teaming up with his four-time MVP father in the NBA, the eldest son of LeBron James dismissed the notion, at least for the time being. “When I get there, I don’t think it would just be like me and my dad. I would be happy about getting into the league instead of me thinking about playing with my dad,” Bronny explained. “But that’s not my mindset at all. I’m just trying to put in the work and see where it takes me.”

Reportedly, Bronny James is considering foregoing his remaining college eligibility to enter the professional ranks early. After a single season at USC, where he averaged 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds across 25 games, James may withdraw his name from the 2024 NBA Draft by June 16. Despite impressing at the combine and winning over some skeptics, there’s a detail from his combine measurements that could potentially impact his draft prospects.
