Longhorns Daily News: Former Texas RB Bijan Robinson: ‘I was happy’ Atlanta Falcons signed QB Kirk Cousins

Former Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson likely sensed that his NFL team, the Atlanta Falcons, were missing a crucial component to their offense last season, despite his impressive rookie performance. This changes in 2024 with the Falcons’ acquisition of former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins. Robinson is evidently thrilled about his new teammate.

“I was happy, man,” Robinson told Inside Texas. “I was happy not only because I think he’s a top 10 quarterback, but also because of his faith and how good he is to his teammates. I knew he would fit in with us immediately. The great thing that Terry [Fontenot], Raheem [Morris], Arthur Blank, and Arthur Smith have done is bring in not just talented players, but also really good people.”
