Kamare Williams, a class of 2025 receiver, committed to Arkansas on Tuesday over two other SEC finalists.
Williams, 6-3 and 185 pounds, of Delray Beach (Fla.) Palm Beach Central, narrowed his list of schools to Arkansas, Ole Miss, Florida, Florida State, Indiana, Louisville and Pittsburgh on March 17.
A consensus 3-star recruit, Williams recorded 49 receptions for 695 yards and 6 touchdowns as a junior. LSU, Auburn, Oregon, Penn State, Kentucky, Michigan, Texas A&M and Maryland are among the 25-plus schools to offer him.
Arkansas receivers coach Ronnie Fouch visited Williams’ school Tuesday prior to his public commitment. The Razorbacks extended an offer to him Jan. 30.
As a sophomore, Williams had 35 catches for 916 yards (26.2 yards per reception) and 11 touchdowns. He attended Delray Beach Atlantic that season.
Williams was named All-Palm Beach 5A-1A first-team from the Orlando Sun Sentinel as a freshman at nearby Boynton Beach Community High School. He played defensive back and had 30 tackles, 5 interceptions and 3 pass breakups.
Williams is the Razorbacks’ sixth commitment for the 2025 class and the first receiver.
