The Big 12 Conference secured some of the top talent from the 2024 college basketball transfer portal, with five of the 12 highest-rated transfer prospects either joining or moving within the league this spring. Unsurprisingly, Kansas landed three of the top-10 highest-rated transfers in the Big 12. Following a disappointing season, the Jayhawks aggressively targeted the portal to address their needs and strengthen their core. Meanwhile, West Virginia, under new head coach Darian DeVries, is the only team in the nation to secure two of the top-10 highest-rated transfers this cycle.
