According to a report by James L. Edwards III and Shams Charania from The Athletic on Saturday, the Pistons plan to release Brown.

Brown, originally drafted 15th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft, has played six seasons in the league with the Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Detroit Pistons, and Minnesota Timberwolves. He holds career averages of 6.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, shooting 42.3% from the field and 35.1% from three-point range across 356 regular-season games.
