The Chicago Bulls announced today that they have completed a three-team sign-and-trade deal involving guard Chris Duarte, two second-round draft picks, and cash considerations. He has averaged 8.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.7 steals per game over his NBA career, earning All-Rookie Second Team honors in the 2021-22 season.
DeMar DeRozan, a 6-6 guard weighing 220 pounds, leaves the Bulls after averaging 25.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game across 229 starts since joining the team in 2021-22.
