Nike introduced the Giannis Freak 6 in two colorways: one honoring the Milwaukee Bucks star’s bond with his late father and another reflecting his vibrant personality both on and off the court.

Nike launched the Giannis Freak 6 in two colorways: one symbolizing the Milwaukee Bucks star’s connection with his late father, and the other highlighting his lively personality both on and off the court.

Antetokounmpo has been partnered with Nike throughout his entire NBA career. The brand introduced his first signature shoe in 2019, and the collaboration has been highly successful for both sides.

The newest release is set to arrive in stores on August 16, just under a week after the 2024 Summer Olympics conclude. Antetokounmpo is expected to showcase the Freak 6s during the Olympics as he competes for his native Greece in the coming weeks.

The Freak 6s don’t differ significantly from their predecessor, as Nike adopted an “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach to the design.

Antetokounmpo averaged 30.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game while wearing the Freak 5s, indicating that the design has been highly effective.
