Breaking news:Arkansas basketball secures its inaugural commitment under John Calipari’s leadership.

Former Kentucky center Zvonimir Ivisic, weighing in at 7-2, 234 pounds, will reunite with John Calipari at Arkansas next season, having officially committed to the Razorbacks. Ivisic, a sophomore, made his decision public via Instagram after entering the transfer portal on Saturday.
The Croatia native, who played professionally overseas with SC Derby in Podgorica, Montenegro, from 2020-23, signed with Kentucky in August 2023, but did not arrive or enroll in classes at Kentucky until October.

Ivisic was forced to miss the 16 games of the season as he awaited clearance from the NCAA before being cleared right before Kentucky’s game against Georgia on Jan. 20. In his collegiate debut, he scored 13 points (3 of 4 3PT), grabbed five rebounds, blocked two shots and dished out two assists.
He finished the year averaging 5.5 points per game with 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 57.7 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from three and 77.3 percent from the free throw line.

With the addition of Ivisic, Arkansas has its first scholarship player on the roster for the 2024-25 season and have 12 spots left to fill out. Stay up-to-date with a transfer portal running timeline.
