“Following Damonic Williams’ pledge, it seemed Oklahoma had solidified its defensive line. However, Jermayne Lole’s reversal to join Texas threw a wrench in the plans, leaving the Sooners in search of a replacement. Rumors circulated about their interest in Brandon Lane from Stephen F. Austin, who had withdrawn his commitment from Michigan State, and Jay’viar Suggs from Grand Valley State, who ultimately chose LSU.”
“According to On3’s latest report, Oklahoma is poised to welcome Adin Huntington from Louisiana Monroe for a visit this week. Huntington showcased his talent with an impressive season, recording 63 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 8.5 sacks.”
The 6-foot-1 281-pounder would need to put on some weight so he could slide into where Oklahoma had foreseen Lole playing. But he will at least replace the depth they lost with Lole’s decision which is why this would be a major get if they can pull it off.
