BREAKING NEWS:Randy Gregory shares a message following his signing with the Buccaneers….

Former San Francisco 49ers linebacker Randy Gregory, who came close to winning a Lombardi Trophy last season, believes he can achieve that goal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gregory, who joined the 49ers midway through last season via a trade with the Denver Broncos, has signed a one-year, $3 million deal with incentives with the Buccaneers. “As a kid, I always dreamed about making it to the NFL and reaching the Super Bowl, so to have experienced that is significant,” Gregory told reporters on Thursday. “While I wanted the win last year, I’m hopeful I can achieve that this upcoming year with Tampa Bay.”
“I think, obviously, you guys have had success here over the past few years. We have a great team right there, set up to make another run. That’s what I intend on doing — trying to help in that way,” Gregory added.

San Francisco had a chance to face the Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game last season. However, the Detroit Lions thwarted the Buccaneers’ comeback attempt with a game-sealing interception.
Gregory’s addition bolsters the Buccaneers’ linebacker corps following the exits of Devin White to the Philadelphia Eagles and Shaquil Barrett to the Miami Dolphins. In the previous season, Gregory recorded 3.5 sacks, 20 tackles, 10 quarterback hits, and a pass deflection over 16 games while playing for both the Broncos and the 49ers.
