Bronny James is reportedly already upsetting Lakers teammates: Summer League was Bronny on Tour

“While the Los Angeles Lakers rookie displayed moments of potential during the offseason competition, doubts persist about the NBA future of LeBron James’ eldest son. Despite showing improvement in his final two Summer League games, Bronny still has much to demonstrate to his coaches, teammates, and father, as well as to the Lakers’ passionate fans. A recent report highlights alleged frustration and tension surrounding Bronny, suggesting he may already be causing unease among key figures in Los Angeles.”

According to the U.S. Sun, Bronny’s Summer League debut generated significant attention, but it left his Lakers teammates feeling frustrated, especially as he initially struggled. A Lakers Summer League player mentioned that Bronny’s representatives kept him from media responsibilities and that his attitude seemingly impacted team chemistry.

“He was treated as though he was separate from us, which was irritating because we felt a lack of cohesion in the group,” the player said.

The anonymous source also felt that the Summer League was more about showcasing Bronny than supporting all players, describing it as “Bronny On Tour.” He added that many on the roster shared these sentiments, noting that the visible tensions made everyone eager for the Summer League to end and move on to their careers.

Despite these issues, Bronny occasionally demonstrated strong team spirit and professionalism. The 19-year-old guard was often seen supporting his teammates from the bench, and by the end of the Summer League, he delivered a solid performance in a 93-89 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds, and had three assists.
