DHANI HARRISON: I Am Leaving the Music Industry Because…
I am leaving the music industry because, after years of navigating its ever-shifting tides, I’ve come to realize that my creative spirit needs a different kind of space—one where I can breathe without deadlines, metrics, or expectations clouding the joy of making art.
Music has always been in my blood—passed down not only genetically but spiritually from my father, George, and through every collaboration and solo endeavor I’ve pursued. I’ve been grateful for every note, every stage, every soul I’ve connected with through sound. But somewhere along the way, I began to feel the weight of legacy and the pressure to keep producing, even when my heart whispered otherwise.
This isn’t a goodbye to creation. It’s a shift toward peace, reflection, and perhaps other forms of expression—film, art, silence. I’m not closing the door forever, but I am stepping back to find something I lost along the way: myself.
Thank you for listening. Thank you for walking with me.
