Done deal:Paraphse:Oliver Ekman-Larsson confirm to join the Maple Leafs after….

A year ago, Oliver Ekman-Larsson faced a turning point in his career after being bought out by the Vancouver Canucks. He joined the Florida Panthers during NHL Free Agency, hoping to rejuvenate his career. Now, as a Stanley Cup champion, he has signed a four-year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Over the past year, Ekman-Larsson has experienced significant changes. In a recent Q&A with PHNX Sports reporter Craig Morgan, he shared his feelings. The Stanley Cup champion admitted that leaving Florida wasn’t an easy decision, but he believes joining the Maple Leafs was the right choice.

“I always trust my gut feeling, and when Toronto showed interest, I felt it was the right move for me and my family,” he told PHNX Sports. “I’ve always enjoyed playing in that building as a visiting player. It’s special, with a lot of history in the organization. I believe they have a strong team with the potential to achieve something special. I think it’s a good fit.”
