The Georgia Athletics community is mourning the loss of Mike Bilbow, a cherished former staff member and friend. Bilbow served as the Executive Director of New Media at the University of Georgia (UGA) for IMG College, where he managed georgiadogs.com, the university’s social media platforms, stadium scoreboard videos, and contributed to radio coverage. He also played a pivotal role in developing Georgia television content not governed by the SEC, including game replays, coaches’ shows, and game day previews.
In 2014, Bilbow transitioned to the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, taking on the role of Vice President of Content and Production. His extensive experience in college athletics, including his tenure at UGA, was instrumental in shaping the Hall of Fame’s content strategy.
Colleagues remember Bilbow for his unwavering dedication, innovative approach, and the profound impact he had on Georgia Athletics and the broader college football community. His contributions have left an indelible mark, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
