Simon Johnson reports for The Athletic that Ipswich Town are interested in signing Chelsea’s Omari Hutchinson on a permanent deal, submitting an enquiry about the fee.
Johnson also mentions that Hutchinson has drawn interest from other Premier League clubs and various teams throughout Europe.
Football.London had previously stated that Ipswich were preparing a £20m offer for the player, while VfB Stuttgart, Ajax, and Feyenoord are also monitoring his situation.

If Hutchinson does indeed secure a permanent transfer, wherever that may be, it would be beneficial for Arsenal.
In 2022, when Arsenal sold Hutchinson to Chelsea, The Athletic mentioned that the fee received was relatively modest.
Nevertheless, the agreement included a sell-on clause, meaning Arsenal will receive a percentage of any amount Chelsea receive from Hutchinson’s transfer. The specific amount of this clause remains undisclosed.

Since his transfer in 2022, Hutchinson has made two appearances for Chelsea but hasn’t been included in their squad since his last game in January 2023.
During this season, he played 50 matches for Ipswich Town in the Championship, scoring 11 goals and contributing six assists.
