The Light Blues have not yet confirmed the situation officially, but Stevie Clifford, host of Four Lads, has urged those in charge at Ibrox to issue an official statement as fans grow increasingly frustrated.
In a post on X on Monday (8 July), he stated: “Ultimately, Rangers and John Bennett need to communicate with the supporters. The fans are becoming increasingly frustrated with this ongoing issue, and it’s challenging to express that frustration at times.”As Clifford pointed out, it is imperative for the club to issue an official statement in the coming days, especially with the Premiership campaign about to commence. The current lack of communication from Rangers is unacceptable.
While Rangers have numerous matters to address before finalizing their plans for the start of the campaign, they have kept their supporters uninformed for an extended period, while various new reports have surfaced from different sources.
If this were occurring on the other side of Glasgow, Rangers fans would likely be mocking Celtic’s management for mishandling this situation during the offseason. The leadership at Ibrox should be held equally accountable.
If this were happening at Celtic, Rangers fans would probably be criticizing Celtic’s management for mishandling this situation during the offseason. The leadership at Ibrox should face similar scrutiny and accountability.
