The Mississippi State Diamond Dawgs took an early 6-0 lead but ultimately lost 9-6 to the No. 5 Arkansas Razorbacks. Despite starting strong with five runs in the second inning, they couldn’t secure the win in game three. Ethan Pulliam was a standout player, driving in four runs with two doubles and a two-run home run, finishing 3-for-4 at the plate. Aaron Downs also contributed with a double and an RBI, going 3-for-4, while Joe Powell hit his first home run of the season.
Pico Kohn made his fifth start of the season and pitched four innings, recording four strikeouts in the game. Karson Ligon, Gavin Black, Cam Schuelke, and Tyson Hardin combined for the final four innings of relief work, with Black getting two strikeouts and Hardin striking out one batter.
