On Tuesday afternoon, the Los Angeles Lakers unveiled their latest draft class, which features Tennessee’s Dalton Knecht as the first-round selection and Bronny James, LeBron James’ son, out of USC, as the second-round selection.
Everyone was curious as to whether Bronny experienced any extra pressure while playing on a team with his father, one of the greatest players of all time. When asked a question by Los Angeles Times reporter Bill Plaschke, Bronny answered straight.
“For sure, [there’s] an amplified amount of pressure,” Bronny stated. “I’ve already seen things about how I might not deserve a chance on social media and the internet. But as you may know, I’ve been coping with issues similar to these for my entire existence, so nothing is changed, but it is undoubtedly exaggerated more. I’ll overcome it.
