“Dana Altman and the Oregon men’s basketball program have secured their first major transfer portal commitment of the offseason.

Stanford senior forward Brandon Angel, who visited Oregon last weekend, has announced he will complete his college career with the Oregon Ducks. Angel had been weighing offers from Duke, Wisconsin, and other schools before choosing Oregon.”
The 6-foot-8 forward from San Diego started 60 games at Stanford and played in 112 career games for the Cardinal. He averaged a career-high 13 points this past season while shooting a career-high 44.7 percent on 3-point attempts. Angel also averaged 4.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and he shot 56.7 percent from the field on eight shots a game.

With Angel’s addition to the roster, Oregon will feature three seniors next season: Jadrian Tracey, Keeshawn Barthelemy, and Angel.
