Heid Manning, who recently graduated from Isidore Newman High School where he played as a center, could be the next Manning to enter college football. Following in the footsteps of his brother Arch Manning, who quarterbacked the same high school team before heading to play for the Texas Longhorns, Heid has shown significant potential on the field. Unlike his famous relatives who played skill positions, Heid has made a name for himself with his physical presence and dominance as an offensive lineman, a crucial role that requires substantial physical assertiveness to succeed. According to Fanarch.com, Heid is already demonstrating the necessary prowess to make an impact in college football.
Heid is currently a 6-foot, 230-pound recent graduate of Isadore Newman High School and although has yet to surface on the collegiate level, do not be surprised if he at least gets a chance somewhere considering the Manning legacy.
What is the History of the Manning Family?
There are a few pieces here. To begin, Heid’s grandfather Archie Manning played quarterback for Ole Miss in the late 1960’s, as did his uncle Eli in the late 1990’s and early 200’s.
Heid’s uncle Peyton player quarterback for the Tennessee Volunteers. Both Eli and Peyton went on to have great NFL careers with Peyton winning two super bowls and Eli winning one.
Most recently in the news would be Heid’s older brother Arch who as mentioned earlier is currently at the University of Texas playing quarterback from the Texas Longhorns as the backup behind Quinn Ewers heading into 2024.
