According to Sarah Todd, Utah Jazz assistant coach Chad Forcier is leaving to join the Phoenix Suns.
According to league sources, Utah Jazz assistant coach Chad Forcier is joining Mike Budenholzer’s staff with the Phoenix Suns. This move is not surprising given Forcier’s history with Budenholzer, who was recently hired to replace Frank Vogel as head coach. Forcier previously worked with Budenholzer for four years with the Milwaukee Bucks and spent several years together on the San Antonio Spurs coaching staff.
This is the second Utah Jazz assistant coach to depart this offseason, but it likely won’t significantly impact the team. There is always offseason movement as coaches seek higher positions elsewhere. The Jazz haven’t made any major moves yet, so this departure doesn’t necessarily indicate their future plans. For now, we wait to see the next development for the Jazz.
