FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas men’s basketball forward Trevon Brazile, who had previously entered the NBA Draft and remains listed among the early entry candidates, is reportedly joining the NCAA transfer portal. This news was first reported by On3. The deadline for entering the transfer portal is Wednesday at midnight.
ESPN had earlier reported that Trevon Brazile was giving up his two remaining years of college eligibility to pursue a career in the NBA. However, he seems to be keeping that eligibility after all. Brazile declared for the draft on April 8, following the announcement that former Arkansas coach Eric Musselman was leaving to coach at Southern Cal, and the hiring of new coach John Calipari.
The 6-foot-10 redshirt sophomore forward, who transferred to the Razorbacks after his freshman year at Missouri, averaged 8.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
