Simone Biles Receives Lavish Gift from Parents After Olympics

Simone Biles further solidified her legacy with another outstanding performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, securing four additional medals for her illustrious collection.

Along with her new Olympic medals, Biles received a lavish gift from her parents. Ronald and Nellie Biles, who adopted Simone and her sister Adria, gifted her an Hermes bag, which Biles proudly announced in a recent Threads post.

“My parents bought me an Hermes bag. Don’t be mad at me; be mad at your parents,” Biles playfully wrote on social media.

Though Ronald and Nellie are Biles’ grandparents, they adopted her and her sister after her birth mother, Shanon Biles, faced challenges with addiction. Biles shared in the “Simone vs. Herself” documentary series that being removed from her biological mother and placed into foster care before being adopted by her grandparents helped put her on a better path in life.

She said, “I don’t think I would be where I am now without that turning point. I’d still be Simone Biles, but not the Simone Biles that everyone knows and recognizes.”

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Biles won gold in the team finals, All-Around, and Vault, and earned silver in the Floor Exercise, bringing her total Olympic medal count to 11.
