In 2024, the spotlight is on basketball phenom Bronny James, eldest son of the iconic LeBron James. Following a season at USC Trojans, there is considerable excitement about the prospect of Bronny playing alongside his father for the Los Angeles Lakers.
However, after a challenging freshman year at USC, Bronny’s draft stock has taken a hit, with numerous mock drafts predicting him to be selected in the second round. With the Lakers holding the No. 55 overall pick, there is speculation that they may seize the opportunity to unite Bronny and LeBron on the court next season.
However, what about LeBron’s second son, Bryce James?
Bryce, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard at Sierra Canyon, is entering his senior year of high school. Despite being rated as a three-star recruit on 247Sports, he remains a highly discussed prospect in his class due to his father’s legacy, much like Bronny.
On Monday, Team USA revealed that Bryce, alongside several other top prospects in his age group, has been selected for the U17 squad. Among his teammates are Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the twins of former NBA star Carlos Boozer.
In the video, Bryce can be seen wearing LeBron’s No. 23. Team USA will play in the U17 Men’s World Cup starting June 29 against France.
