You are a lier! Tom Brady is branded a LIAR by a former New England Patriots teammate… and here’s why

During a recent appearance on the Pivot podcast, Brady shared his appreciation for Patrick Mahomes’ playing style and hinted at potential changes he might consider if he could redo his NFL career. However, former Patriots tight end Christian Fauria, now a talk show host at WEEI 93.7 in Boston, expressed skepticism

Fauria jokingly remarked on his radio show, “I think Brady is pulling our leg. When I heard that, I thought, ‘Who’s he fooling? He can’t change. He can’t switch gears like that. It’s just not in his nature. He’s not wired the way Mahomes is.'”

Fauria had a career in the NFL spanning from 1995 to 2007, which included a stint with the Patriots from 2002 to 2005. As a retired tight end, he played a role in two of Brady’s early Super Bowl appearances.

Brady went on to win seven Super Bowl titles, including one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, before retiring. Following his legendary career, Brady will join FOX Sports as an NFL analyst alongside Kevin Burkhardt in a lucrative ten-year, $357 million deal.

“I’ve seen him enjoy himself; I’ve heard him laugh and joke around,” Fauria added. “But when it came to the game, you could see it during specific throws, or when he clinched a victory or a critical first down.”

Throughout his illustrious career, Brady became the most decorated player in NFL history, securing seven championships.

“He’s filled with joy, celebrating like a young child, but the truth is he possesses a fundamentally different demeanor compared to Mahomes. Everything about him sets him apart.”

In contrast, Mahomes has guided the Kansas City Chiefs to consecutive titles and three championships in the last five years. He earned Super Bowl MVP honors in all three victories.

Even after surpassing Mahomes for his most recent ring in 2021, Brady expressed admiration for the Chiefs’ quarterback.

“When I watch these young players, like Patrick out there at quarterback, running around, laughing, enjoying themselves,” Brady remarked. “I think to myself, ‘I used to be like that. What happened?'”

“I just became too serious, but looking back now, I can only reflect,” Brady commented. “If I had another chance, which I won’t, I would approach it differently. But the truth is, you can’t.”
