Just in:Kendall Diggs from the University of Arkansas made a strong comeback with clutch hits to secure a victory.

Kendall Diggs played a pivotal role in Arkansas’s win against Kentucky on Friday night, helping the Razorbacks reclaim the top spot in the SEC in a matchup between the conference’s co-leaders.

Diggs broke a tie with a crucial two-run double in the sixth inning, then extended Arkansas’s lead with a two-run single in the seventh. These key hits supported ace Hagen Smith’s pitching performance, allowing the No. 2-ranked Razorbacks to secure a 10-3 victory over No. 8 Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.

The win improved Arkansas’s record to 40-7 overall and 17-5 in the SEC, placing them a game ahead of Kentucky, who fell to 33-10 and 16-6 in the conference. This victory also gave Arkansas a two-game lead in the SEC West over No. 1 Texas A&M, which lost to LSU on Friday night. The series opener at Kentucky Proud Park was a strong start for the Razorbacks in the three-game set.
