A pivotal figure in all four championship victories during Golden State’s recent dominance, Thompson contributed pivotal performances throughout each championship campaign. This notably includes the 2017 and 2018 titles alongside Kevin Durant, who expressed his sentiments for Thompson via Instagram.
“Durant earned the Finals MVP title with the Warriors in both 2017 and 2018, yet his success relied heavily on the powerhouse duo of Klay Thompson and Steph Curry. Many consider those Warriors teams, with Durant, as possibly the most dominant in NBA history, a sentiment difficult to dispute.
