Four-star athlete Thomas Blackshear announced his commitment to Georgia on Sunday. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound prospect is from Calvary Day School in Savannah, Georgia.

He chose the Bulldogs instead of Florida State and Tennessee.

Blackshear holds the position as the No. 298 overall prospect and No. 10 athlete in the class of 2025. According to the On3 industry rankings, he is listed as the No. 2 athlete and No. 37 player in Georgia.

After Blackshear’s commitment, Georgia’s 2025 recruiting class now holds the No. 8 spot nationally and No. 3 within the SEC. Blackshear marks the ninth commitment in the Bulldogs’ 2025 class.
