Hogs Hammer Six Homers, Outslug Redhawks In Fayetteville Regional Opener

The Arkansas Razorbacks outslugged SEMO 17-9 in the Fayetteville Regional opener at Baum-Walker Stadium, thanks to multi-homer games from Ben McLaughlin and Hudson White. The Razorbacks, now 44-14, advance to face the winner of Louisiana Tech and Kansas State on Saturday night.

Arkansas tied their single-season home win record with this victory. They quickly built an 8-0 lead, highlighted by McLaughlin’s three-run homer and White’s solo shot. SEMO fought back to tie the game at 8, but Arkansas regained control with back-to-back homers from Wehiwa Aloy and Kendall Diggs. The Razorbacks extended their lead with three-run homers from McLaughlin and White.
